In recent years the demand for virtual therapy has significantly increased and well, with that virtual online services have had incredible growth! The root of that demand has many of us navigating life in a different way. We find ourselves the most vulnerable in familiar surroundings. A comfy couch, our favorite candle, or our best sweatpants topped with the privacy needed- it all adds the tranquility we crave and allows ourselves to fully pour into an online session. I understand feeling ‘stuck’ or ‘lost’ and the need for guidance on how to move forward. My eagerness to ensure that every person has access to mental health services is a passion that I will forever be proud of and the fuel I use to be your guide through your own mental health journey.

What Can I Help You With?

Burnout

The high demands we carry with us throughout the day can cause a sense of overwhelm and exhaustion that can be overcome with some rest. If you’re waking up with the overwhelming feeling of the day almost daily, and without a zest to begin a new day, it may be the time to reach out. We can schedule your days and calm your mind so that you work to your best potential. Burnout is a real thing and although it feels like doom, I know it’s in you to bring light back in!

Let’s get you smiling again.

Immigration Evaluations

Did you fall in love? You want a new chapter in life? Is life demanding that you move to a specific location? The process isn’t easy and I am her to hold your hand through it all.

An immigration evaluation is essentially a process used to assess various aspects of a person's situation to determine their eligibility for entering, staying, or becoming a permanent resident or citizen of a country.

Let’s check off your to-do list to get you outta here as smoothly as possible!

Anxiety

Oh, that little guy in your head who plans ahead for the future a little too far and a little too precise. Anxiety stops you in your tracks and can get worse with time if neglected, making you live life on the edge of your seat 24/7.

Let’s help you relax and take it one day at a time, plan for your future in a logical way, and remind you that you have a purpose! No need to worry about it all at once and I’ll show you how.

ADHD

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) affects many adults. Paying attention, controlling impulses and managing activity levels can really put one behind in day-to-day tasks.

Imagine your brain is like a TV with lots of channels. For someone with ADHD, if the remote is broken and you try to change the channel, it may not respond properly when you push buttons. You're stuck on that channel (a thought) and it's difficult to switch over to the next.

The good news is that you’re not alone! Many people have the same struggles and the better news is that I am here to help! Let’s organize your day in a way that’s tailored to YOU rather than a day that will work for everyone else.

Individual Telehealth Therapy

At Danielle Ellis, LMFT, I offer mental health services via telehealth (virtual therapy) that integrate Solution-Focused Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Narrative Theory. My approach focuses on uncovering strengths, exploring internal dynamics, and reshaping personal narratives to promote growth and healing. Through these modalities, clients can gain insight, develop coping strategies, and create positive change in their lives. As an experienced therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate challenges, foster resilience, and achieve personal well-being.

So who is this lady telling you to open up on your comfy couch in your sweatpants?

Born and raised in Northern Nevada, this place has been home and my heart continues to call it that. Laughing is my favorite and I love for my clients to feel that through the screen. Humor will be a factor used to ensure you leave our therapy sessions merry of heart.

The outdoors is medicine! A day well spent is in the sun with my family, friends and my dogs.

My approach with others in therapy is by out-of-the-box reasoning. This is appreciably influenced by my own personal growth and healing that I’ve walked through in mental health. Therapy can suck sometimes! My goal is to touch all bases  with you to heal every open wound as best and as gently as possible.
